Terry Jones a pastor from Gainesville, FL said he had plans to burn the Koran on Sept 11, the day of the terrorist attack know n as 9/11. He thinks that this is being American and supporting the troops when in fact he is endangering the troops there even more. Some support him saying it is a willingness to take a stand against the teachings of Islam and against the current culture of unwillingness to think critically about religious truth claims.

On the other side Muslims are enraged by this. They think it takes the IQ of a man in the Stone Ages to think of an idea to do that and execute it. Even in the states they are having riots and groups of Muslims making posters and going against this act. Obama himself had said that this act would be un-American.
