Ghandi's ideas of Hinduism was of peace, unity, and discipline. Ghandi showed this through the actions in the movie "Ghandi" for example all he wanted was peace and non-violence. While the British would constantly abuse and even kill them, Ghandi told everyone to respond with non-violence actions. Unity was also proven to be one of Ghandi's ideas of Hinduism because during the fight against the British and he would always state how everyone were brothers and sisters to each other regarding their religion. He even almost starved to death while fasting to stop the fight between the Hindus and Palestinians. Discipline was one of Ghandi's biggest ideas of Hinduism i think because of all his fasting, and patience.
“An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind.” Ghandi I think lived by this quote the most. He would never fight back or seek revenge. While the British beat him, arrested him, and abused him. Ghandi used non-violence to solve his problems because he knew if they tried to seek revenge and use violence against them it would only make it worse causing bigger problems.
